Ricardo is the Associate Vice President and Creative Director of Sonshine Communications. In this capacity, he oversees all aspects of the graphic arts and multimedia division which includes print/graphic design, video/audio production, web design, and multimedia development. Ricardo will manage all creative oversight and coordinate all creative services for the contract, including graphic design, advertising production, product production and multi-media platform of services.
He is known for creating graphic designs that are innovative, out-of-the-box, and that “shine” every time.
In his 29-year tenure with the firm, Ricardo has managed corporate collateral and video production projects, as well as created materials for prestigious organizations including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project, U.S. General Services Administration Awareness Campaign, Honeywell Corporate Development Campaign, the CDC HIV/AIDS Awareness campaign; Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Department of Health “truth” campaign, FDOH HIV/AIDS campaign, and numerous others.
Under his direct leadership, the Sonshine team has received numerous honors and awards including ADDYs for creative development of products for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U. S. Department of Interior, the Florida Department of Transportation, and many others.
Ricardo is an exceptionally talented and dedicated creative director who has a wealth of knowledge on the latest and greatest innovative techniques. He manages graphic projects with finesse and perfect skill. He is known for creating graphic designs that are innovative, out-of-the-box, and that “shine” every time. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and an Associate of Arts degree in Commercial Art from the International Fine Arts College.
